You should brush its teeth at least twice a week using toothpaste and toothbrush prepared for dogs. This will help to remove plaque and tartar from your puppies’ teeth.

Every dog breeds has its own problem and some of the popular sickness associated with this breed includes genetic eye diseases, heart diseases and skin problems. Make sure to bring your puppies for regular exercising activities. The excessive weight will not be good for their back and might cause them to have problematic spine disc. This is simply because the nature of their long back.

This breed also prefers to have more indoor activities and don’t really like harsh weather.

Clip your puppies’ toenails regularly to maintain its general hygiene.

You will need to provide some training in order to get your Dachshund start listening to your instruction. They can be stubborn at times and they can lose focus quite fast simply because its energetic nature.
